I decided to change up my leave in conditioner for the first time in 3 years, lol. I've been hearing alot about infusium 23 and how great it is. Here is my review. First of all this product is expensive($6.99 Canadian). Also, the spray pump does not "spritz" the product out like Pantene's leave in. I found this to be very frustrating. When you're trying to spritz shoulder blade length hair and the pump is squirting out needle thin amounts that hardly make contact with the hair, you're wasting your time. So, I decided to take the pump from my pantene bottle and stick it in the Infusium bottle...there we go, it's spritzing. Now it was time to detangle, problem was this garbage made my hair more tangly. It felt like glue, it was all sticky. My hair was sticking together and I was starting to rip out strands as I was detangling. This product would make a great mousse, lol. Bottom line is that this product is not good for thick wavy hair...at least mine anyway. The best leave in's I've used have been Pantene's and Thermasilk, and unfortunately the latter has been discontinued. I hope this review saves people from wasting money on overhyped hair care products.
I have somewhat thick, dark brown, straight hair that's about down to my elbows or so, and with that type of hair, I can tell you safely that I have not had the greatest experience(s) with Infusium products. I used the Infusium-23 shampoo and conditioner for a number of months maybe, oh, a year and a half ago, but I'll never use it again. It made my hair extremely frizzy and made it flat, rather than giving it volume.
In other words, the only volume that came from it was the fact that the frizz got frizzier. That's just me, though.
Ive been using infusium 23 for several months now and it is EXCELLENT! I have thick wavy hair and it makes it a lot more managable. Its worked for plenty of others on this board so I dont now what to tell you. I recently switched to the professional version which works a little better but still, if it werent for this my hair would frizz out and dry up a lot more.
