OK guys,
I've posted my side by side comparison pics on my earthlink site. You can get there by following the links below:
This first link is the frontal view...the pic on the left is WITHOUT Jojoba Oil and the one on the right is WITH

I think that it gives my hair more shine...it doesn't have that dried out look that my hair usually has. It has also given my hair just a little bit of weight which keeps it from going all over the place. Also, it has minimized tangling tremendously. I used a very small amount (less than the size of a dime) and concentrated on applying to the ends and just a little bit massaged into the scalp. So far, so good!
Take care and keep it growin', y'all!
Brett
Hey, that looks VERY nice! What a shine! I'll have to try that, I've been using coconut oil which also helps with tangles and frizz, but hasn't given me a shine like that.
Just one point, imo you may want to consider trimming two inches off the ends, they're looking a bit thin. Only my thoughts... peace!

Is it really darker with jojoba, or is that just a lighting effect?
It's the lighting...I had a little daylight coming in on the original pics so they had an slight orange tint to them. It, in itself, didn't make my hair any darker.
Brett
Hey Brett :-)
Personally, I prefer your hair without the oil. It could well be the lighting conditions of course, but I think it may look a little (only a little) "greasy". I know my hair goes greasy if I put a little too much leave in conditionerin etc.
If you like it that way though, and think it looks good (it does - but I prefer it thicker and more fluffy like mine !) then thumbs up!
Great hair either way!

Looking good, Brett. Either way. I've been experimenting with Jojoba oil and found it makes my hair *much* darker. Perhaps your hair color is light enough that it doesn't make too much of a difference. Jojoba oil can supposedly be 'absorbed' into the hair so I've been putting it on at night. Thanks for the pictures, it is an interesting comparison.
Thanx Gollan,
I've just had my first shampoo since using it and put a little in before I let it air dry. I've been using a very small amount...how much do you use?
Thanx again and keep it growin'
Brett
Where can you buy Jojoba Oil?
I bought mine at a place called The Vitamin Shoppe. If you don't have one nearby, try Amazon.com at this link:

This is the brand I bought. I think it's been working well. I had my first shampoo since I started using it and it's feeling great. The cool thing is that you don't need to use a whole lot to see it working. I use an amount about the size of a dime...about 3 drops...and work it into the ends only. After their covered sufficiently I'll use the remainder on the rest of my hair. If your hair is dry I think you will like it!
Keep it growin', y'all!
Brett
It looks less dry, and if it feels less dry, you're heading in the right direction. After about six months, you should notice that your ponytail is growing in lots thicker.
I think you've just increased your potential length by a lot.
