Tonite I headed out to the highschool teams football game that I used to play on I coach now. And it was very windy out today so I put my hair into a segmented ponytail with 4 hair ties down the length. Anyways when I got home later on and took out the ties my hair was not only fairly straight and very soft but it also maintained its fullness and was virtually knot free. My hair has never been knot free so it was quite a cool thing to experience. I wish there was someway I could get my hair this perfect all the time but the only way seems to be to have it in a segmented tail for several hours.
... braiding it at night. That often makes hair more cooperative the next day.
May I ask if your hair was wet or dry when putting it in the segmented ponytail?
My hair was completely dry when I put it in the segment ponytail I had just showered 2 hours or so before.
