That line lining up with the window makes you look like an airhead. (just joking) Do you know where that line came from?
The line is just as a result of high contrast in the CCD of the camera. This is a tendency of lower-resolution web cams that generally have less control over the exposure of the image. Where there are very sharp contrasts in an image as in this case from the light outside the window to a near silhouette, sometimes these strange horizontal bands appear.
Probably not the best technical explanation, but anyway...

I need to find a pic of me in about 1977, scan it, and post it here. My hair looked just like that when I was about 14 years old (in '77).
I think it looks good. Very good, even though it is quite 70s looking. Well, it's like nostalgia to me seeing that pic.
Keep it growing. I think it looks good, and it'll look even better as it gets longer!
