Hi I have posted here numerous times before. After just over a year now growing my hair I am now starting to look at my goals.
I have linked to some pictures which represent my short and long term goals... what do you think of the styles etc.

It's hard to tell if these would be appropriate styles for you without knowing your hair type. These look like models with slightly to moderately wavy hair who have straightened it for the pictures. Unless your hair is naturally straight, there might be a lot of work involved in keeping it looking like this. If your hair is quite coarse, thick, and/or curly, you probably can't do it at all.
But if you have straight hair and you're approaching this length, then go for it.
I agree with Katherine, also I think that its great that you feel comfortable enough to use examples of women's hair. In my opinion, people should get over this whole, "girly looking" long hair, both those styles are pretty unisex and there are really few good examples of long hair styles for men, (with the exception of this board,) that makes it very difficult for guys to explain their long-term goals to stylists when they are growing out. People shouldn't be shy of using photos of women's hair to illustrate their goals, particularly when dealing with Stylists.
