I havent posted a progress pics on the forum since July and was going to wait even longer but the road is getting really bumpy hair wise so I need this for a morale booster.
I've been thinking about cutting ALL THE TIME lately and even went as far as to entering the barber shop, saying that I need a trim (buzzed!) then getting into the chair and not going through with it. The hairdresser thought I was nuts. Well that was two weeks ago and Im still holding on by a thread. It maybe because my girlfriend hates it or that my hair gets so messed up at work because its such a physical job (headware not allowed either).
So for now I can consider myself a longhair in the making, but for how long, I really don't know...
P.S. The hair updates from other members that are in the process of growing long hair do help a lot. Surferdude, Wolfeyes, StanleyBey, thanks for taking the time to post prog pics.

I say dont cut it.The longer it gets the better you are looking.IMO, you look like the lead singer from one of my favorite bands, Sugarcult.I think that is awesome.You will look totaly awesome in a few months time.
Hey. Your hair looks nice and thick the longer it gets. It seems that you have a good rate of growth considering the length you've gained in the past 3 months. Best of luck with regard to sticking to it. I was lucky enough not to even think about getting it cut. It was never on my mind until I started visiting this place and my hair became an obsession.
I look forward to seeing your hair in the coming months as it gets longer. Due to no haircuts. At all. Right?

I think it's coming along great and you're very photogenic. About the cutting thing, I did that once too. My hair was a few inches past my shoulders and I Just decided to chop it all of and I've missed it right away and been growing it out again ever since. My advice to you is, if you're going to cut, cut NOW before it gets longer because if you want to grow it back then you would want an early start. Just a thought.

You have really GREAT hair. It lays nicely. Also, long hair seems to really compliment your facial features.
IMHO you look great with longer hair. Keep it up.

Don't look so glumb you're doing great! You're making excellent progress and you're well on your way to longhair.
One of the big cruxes that causes people to have doubts about their hair is when they reach that point in the awkward stage when they can no longer style their hair in the same way they did when they had short hair.
Your hair is getting to a good length now, why not try styling your hair like Wolfeyes does, maybe follow his lead and use a little Jojoba oil to smooth the hair and maybe give it a little more control.
You can get through the awkward stage, and you can still make your hair look good whilst doing it. People like Wolfeyes & SurferDude are living proof.

If you want long hair then you gotta do the time. Once you start getting to a length you start feeling comfortable with and enjoy, you'll look back with pride that you had the guts to wait it out. Putting up with "packaged people" and their comments and digs ain't easy, but realize some of them pro'lly wish they had the guts to do what you're doing. You've been doing fine up to this point. If you really want longer hair, hang in there bro. You're doing good.
