I have just rebuilt the archives. The following changes were made:
Indentation was added to show the threading.
Removed superfluous links.
Removed references to uploaded images. Note the references to images on other servers are still present, and if the image is not on the remote server, the picture will appear broken.
The "in response to" links work. Rather than point to documents in the separate messages, they now point to the appropriate spot within the thread.
I added a bolded subject line, which was the original subject line each author used.
By the way, we've just recently crossed the 25,000 thread threshold: there are over 25,000 threads indexed.
Looks like I need to modify the indexer to not consider the thumbnails as pictures. It'll probably be a couple days before I get to that. Meanwhile, take the image icons with a grain of salt.
I was in the mood to do the change, so I just did it. Let me know if you find any problems with the archive. Don't tell me about images that are broken. That is normal -- unless you know that the picture really is there....
