I've only had a few trims and that was to even up the back with the top (to make it lay down ala "all one length"). Started re-growing hair from your typical yuppie cut in August of 2001. Here's one of the October 2004 (38 months) progress pictures:
Let me know what you guys think. My goal is about another twelve inches or so, or waist-length. I figure I have two-three more years left.

Brian,
Your hair looks really good. It appears that you take good care of it. At this length, how do you most often wear it out and about, at work, etc? How does work environment respond to your hair? My hair is about the same length, and I find at this length it is easier to wear down simply because the length of it catches behind my shoulders. Still, though, a good gust of wind and it's all over me.
Thanks for sharing the picture.
Robert
Hey Robert, thanks for the encouragement and compliment.
Concerning my work environment, I'm actually a self-employed kinda guy and I work out of my own home so I don't have to deal with the sometimes childish, high-school politics of the white-collar, corporate America world, thank God (I suppose it's true wherrever you go, though). For a living, I build engines and do other automotive type work so I *must* wear it up all of the time or I'll get in trouble. I very rarely have it down during the day if it's a "let's get dirty and work" day.

dam..thats really amazing man, is your hair naturally straight?
Whats your goal length?
Amazing length, great texture, and great color! I'm very jealous!
ABSOLUTELY WOW!!!
YOU REALLY HAVE SOME AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL HAIR.
I REALIZE THAT THE TEXTURE OF SOMEONE'S HAIR IS BASICALLY A RESULT OF GENETICS (AND YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE SOME GREAT GENES), BUT HOW YOU CARE FOR YOUR HAIR ALSO HAS AN IMPACT ON HOW IT LOOKS.
THAT BEING SAID, I THINK WE'D ALL LIKE TO KNOW WHAT PRODUCTS YOU USE ON YOUR HAIR, AND WHAT YOU DO TO MAINTAIN IT IN SUCH GREAT CONDITION.
Hi Michael,
I use Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo. Of the things I've tried, this is probably the most harsh as it is used for several minutes at a time. One of my cardinal rules of hairwashing is to use only an amount about the diameter of a quarter (or half-dollar), get it in, and get it out within about 20 seconds time to prevent any over-drying of the hair or scalp. With this product, however, it's recommended to leave it in for several minutes at a time for it to be most efficient. Other than that, I tend to vary and experiment with other shampoos. I've recently become a fan of the Biolage stuff. It's quite high quality and worth the money. I also love Biosilk and their oil product.
I almost *never* blow-dry my hair, but for these webcam pictures, I did. When I work, I have it rolled up in a bun believe it or not, to keep it away from the elements.
B
Just curious....how do you hold the bun? Pins?
I just use a hair tie and it works very good. But a pin might be needed in conjunction with a hair tie when you hair is longer. But I guess it all depends on what kind of bun you are talking about since there are so many bun styles.
Looks awesome , totally awesome

Great hair, looks in excellent condition.
Thanks!

I agree with everyone else, killer hair! I wanted my hair down to my waist too but don't be shocked if your goal changes by the time you reach it.

Here's another one I took the same night. I wish I could post multiples at a time but I bet I'd have to splice a bunch of pictures together to do it.

Anayway great hair i mean fantastick !!!
Man...........now THAT is "Hair-to-die for!" Looks fabulous and hope you are able to get it waist length.
That is great hair. Once you get there you may not want to stop at waist length but grow it all the way out to full length. Absalom
