hi, I have not posted here in a while but I read the board almost daily. those of you who have any recolection of my posts (I forgive you if you don't) remember that my hair has the tendency to flip out quite a lot. I got exited that my bangs (the last layer) were finaly straightening out, and then the bottom layer decided to give it another go! so my hair (about mid back by now) has an akward flip at the end of it. has anyone else experienced this? and does it go away? (if it helps my hair texture is thick, slightly dry, and slightly wavy)

My own hair now about mid-back STILL has a slight flip to it...................so you are not the only. If anyone out there knows how to eliminate this flip without straightening I would like very much to hear of the solution.
Mine used to do that during the awkward stage but they finally straightened out in time. How long is your hair? Now I'm cursed with the fairytales. It's alright though, just my hairs way of expressing itself. I braid my hair and you can't even tell they're there. Maybe try that :-)

"How long is your hair?"
in answer to that, my hair is layered (I grew from a buzz cut) bangs at shoulder, lowest layer at mid back.
