Realizing that it was taking me nearly as long to get my hair right as it takes to have a shower, I decided it wasn't any long worth the effort. I went to a stylist friend who gave me a kick-ass short cut that shows off my wavy / curly hair. The best part, though, are constant comments from friends who are saying things like "you look so much younger", etc. I've enjoyed following many of you here on the hyperboard and will continue to check in from time to time. I will share one thing I learned: Matrix Smooth Look products really do work to soften and straighten curly / wavy hair. Hair care products sold by salons are so much better than anything I could ever find in a grocery store. As a matter of fact, a friend who is a distributor for TiGi products told me a while ago that their line which groceries and pharmacies sell is watered down, not the quality of what is sold in the salons. Any guys, thanks for letting me enjoy the challenge of growing out my hair. Will I ever do it again? Hell yeah, but not just right now. I'm leaving teaching at the end of this semester and need to do some heavy networking to find a new career. Long hair just isn't going to cut it in that process. Best wishes to you long hairs and long hair wannabes. Nothing beats a full head of kick-ass hair, eh? Josh
Well good luck to you in the future and if it's not right you of course that a personal choice.
