Hey guyz
Myhiar isn't too long but im planning on growing it and have stopped gettin haircuts. The last time i planned to do it i had to eventually get a haircut when school opened :(...this time that aint gonna happen so i really need help on what i can do to prevent my hair from gettin all curled up when i wake up in the morning. I take a shower before going to sleep at night, does this have anything to do with my hair getting all messed up? I really would appreciate some help...thanks..

If your hair's still wet when you go to bed then this is why your hair gets messed up. If you have to take a shower at night, give yourself enough time to let it dry naturally without a blow drier. This will make it easier to manage in the morning without having to use styling products. Also, don't wash your hair everyday and always use conditioner :-) Hope this helps.
Well, if you don't mind going to school with wet hair, stick your head under the faucet and then comb it to taste. Remember, don't brush wet hair.
What's wrong with brushing wet hair? It works a treat for me?
It depends on how long your hair is. Wet hair is easier to break when brushing it. That's why it's always recommended to use a wide tooth comb to de-tangle and, of course, comb. I will have to locate the source of this information as my answer is somewhat short on facts. I'll get back to you unless someone else would care to step in and explain, or disagree.
My hair is almost 8 inches at the shortest, longer at the back and top.

I'veread on the hyperbaord before that it's supposed to be bad and damaging to brush hair while it's wet, but I don't have any damage nor split ends, and brushing it while wet shapes it for when it dries. I don't brush aggressively, like you see some women do to their dry hair, I just gently and slowly brush.
I think Sorted does the same, talking about Sorted, I haven't heared from him in days? Unless I've missed a post?

I always comb my hair right after I get out of the shower, while it is wet. I have never had a problem doing this, in fact, the only times I have a problem combing my hair is when it is DRY rather than wet. This causes much more problems.
My hair gets messed up overnight too. I just take a shower in the morning now.
I normally wash my hair about two hours before I go bed, and hair is naturally dryed, by this time its normally all dry. I'll wake up in the morning like the living dead! A comb through sorts it out though!
I used to go bed with quite wet hair and looked forward to what style it'll be in in the morning! Normally if wet hair is dryed in a certain style it tends to maintain that shape to a certain extent until you wash it again. Depend on your hair type.
