how long is your hair now and how long do you want to grow it?and how old are you/
Waist length in back, chin length in front... I'm happy with the back, now I'm just growing the rest out to the same length (which will be a couple years). And I'm 21.

I am 45 years old and still have a full head of dark brown hair. Am growing it shoulder length. Had blonde highlights added for interest. Nobody thinks I am over 32. Enjoying my little secret!
thanks for ansewering I am 46 and my hair is about 18ins long all the same lenth I want to get about elbow lenth but it dont seam to get any longer it grows real slow now maybe its because my advanced age...lol...but Ill keep trying
I trimmed mine a while back... now it's 3 or 4 inches above my belt. I intend to see how long it'll grow... at least to my butt if possible. I'm a lead press operater full time and a custom picture framer part time.
I'm growing mine out from a buzz. It's beyond the bottom of my neck in back (the front is swept straight back and reaches past the crown). The sides are just past earlobe length. I plan for it all to be to the bottom of my shoulder blades at least. I'm 43.
That pretty much describes the length of my hair, too... also growing it out from a buzz cut. I'm not sure how long I'll let it get - at least all to my shoulders, maybe to my shoulderblades. It is about 75% grey and I'm 36.
My hair is about 4 inches from my waist. I've been growing it for 3 years and 2 months. It's close to being all one length and medium brown in color. I'm 46.
My hair is currently about 8-9 inches, my last haircut was one year ago last week, and I plan to grow it as long as it can go! I am 22.
Just checked last weekend and found that my hair just passed my belt. I'm 40 and living in the Netherlands where my hair length is pretty rare.
I'm 47 and have just recently decided to grow my hair long. Starting from a length of about 3 inches. I've always wanted long hair and now I've decided to do it. My hair is fairly healthy and I hope to grow it as long as it will grow. I know that sounds like pie-in-the-sky dreaming, but I REALLY want it. I work in a professional office and don't give a #*$& what anyone thinks. I only wish I had grown it long when I was younger - All those years wasted.
It's just below the neck in back and just below the jaw in front. I think I'll probably try to grow it all to the bottom of the shoulder blades. (Of course, once I get there, I may not be able to stop! :)
I've been growing it about 2 years and 2 months, after losing a previous 2-year growth to an ill-considered haircut. It might be a bit longer now, but I did have it trimmed occasionally to keep it looking neater for work.
And I'm 35.
Think of David Gallagher's hairstyle in "It was Him or Us": that's my present hairstyle. Since I like it very much, I think I'll keep it this way. I'm 20 now, but people say I look 15/16.
I am 47 years old. I am a lifelong longhair. Since 1966. My hair is of the Ted Nugent type. Its been long enough to tuck into my pants, I have cut it several times to shoulder blade legnth. I have not had "short" hair since I was 12. My wife of 29 years, may lose her waist legnth hair to chemotherapy. If that happens, I will shave mine as well. Us longhairs must stick together. And we will!
Best wishes to you and your wife for a healthy recovery. I really respect your decision to follow your priorities and shave your head. In this season of miracles, I hope that will not be necessary. Keep us posted!
I admire the depth of love speaking from these lines.
All the best for your wife and yourself.
God bless you!
I'm 55 years old. I've got Male Pattern Baldness, but the hair I have left is 15 inches long. It's about 60% gray and naturally quite curly. I think this is about the terminal length for my hair, since I haven't cut it in about 8 years and it doesn't get any longer.
I am 67. My hair is just a little below shoulder length and I have been growing it about a year. I havn't decided how long I want it to be.
I'm 42 and mine is currently just over 24" in the back and about 16" in front. I had "Billy Ray Cirus" style hair for a while - from his earlier period! I plan to grow it until it stops... then, I'm going to pull on it to stretch it out!!! I'd feel lost without it.
My hair is beginning to reach my belt. I've had it long for about 5 years. It's growth has slowed because it's about is long as it can get. I'm in my late 30's.
