I have been in a committed relationship with a wonderful women who is also a hair stylist. Since I have know her, she has cut my hair and has been encouraging me to grow it longer. I am not shy about this, but worry that my hair is becoming too femimine. It is about chin length now and all one length usually parted in the middle. I would greatly appreciate some feedback from some of the female readers of this board as to your thoughts as to men (I am 24) having long hair that is not simply straight and long, but more mid-length styles. Is this attractive or is my girlfriend using me for some sort of fantasy? For the record, I do like it,but am more worried of being accused of being a transexual or something.
There is nothing wrong with mid length styles for guys. I am a guy and I love the bob styles. Chin length is great and I am growing mine out now hopefully to that length. Now my hair is in a bob that is just about to the bottom of my ears with some graduated layers in it. It is very nice but I want it longer. You are very lucky to have a woman that supports you in growing your hair out. Not all of us are that fortunate. So I say do what you want to. If you like it and your girl likes it then that is all that matters. i wish my girl were more supportive.
> OHHHH MYY GODDDD not a Transsexual, anything but a "Transsexual"
Why the sarcasm? To someone who has no desire to blur gender distinctions, and be transgenered, looking like, or being considered a transexual could be a real bummer. Seems pretty simple.

You should re-read his post. He does say he is afraid his hair is beginning to 'look feminine'. And he never implies that all longhairs are transsexuals. He says he is afraid that *HE* may be considered a transsexual if he continues to wear his hair in a feminine style.

Grow a beard, dude. It erases all doubt.
