I normally let my shoulder length hair dry naturally. However, sometimes I need to dry it more quickly. Is a hood dryer better (in terms of haircare and simplicity) for drying long hair compared with using a blow dryer. Also I have a fairly simple straight style - is this easy to do with a hood dryer. Has anyone any experience of using one.
Hi, Steve. I would opt for a hood dryer. Like you, I like the natural drying method, but sometimes you need to dry faster. The hood is definitely better--less breakage and better for scalp. You can also use a hair dryer protector spray. They are getting popular and work. You can also use a hair dryer protector if you blow dry your hair. A variation on blowdrying is to use a low setting and just dry your hair until it is still damp. I hate walking around with a wet head in the winter months. Take care
can you get the old style bonnet dryer with a flexible hose attached. if so who makes them or where can they be purchased
