January 28, 1999 was my last haircut. Last week, after over 11 months, my boss finally asked me what was going on. I told him that basically, I had never had long hair before, was at a point in my career and my life where I no longer felt I needed to look like everyone else, and had not really expected to get this far along, but now that I was here, I liked it alot.
His response was surprising - No problem, but just be aware that people that don't know you well will make assumptions about you.
Of course, before I let it grow, my short hair led people to make assumptions about that, too.
Anyway - I'm now going for two years.

Sorry - no pictures. However, LA Looks Mega Hold Gel works great - I don't think I have honestly had a bad hair "phase". Bad Hair Days happen about once a week, though.
Welcome to the Land of Longhairs! :) Yeah, its'tough if you have a boss (I don't). It's good that he knew you before you had long hair. I still get propositioned about/for drugs sometimes. People form assumptions too easily. Good Luck!
