I am in the Member's Directory on MLHH but need my address updated. I moved out of Fresh Meadows, New York, USA and am now in Nea Makri-Zoumperi, Attiki, Greece. Yes, I am one of those 277 people leaving New York City per day. I figured who needs to live in an expensive prison?

I took this ponytail photograph tonight. I would possibly have longer hair if I maintained it better. Given stress and not getting my ends done for periods of 9 months or longer doesn't give it the strength to show greater length. Given I am 40 with no hair loss and little grey I'm not doing badly at all.

Tonight in my village in Greece, I met a friendly Russian woman from Yekaterinburg. A big city I heard of situated just to the east of the Ural Mountains range, dividing Europe from Asia. She has been living in Greece for 15 years. She speaks little English and I speak little Greek. We had difficultly communicating but managed still to where we could understand each other. She told me I am a perfectly handsome man but doesn't get it [(the reason(s)] why the ponytail and mustache I wear, thinking it detracts from my looks. Nonetheless, she played with my ponytail a little bit. I would suppose from this she likes the hair, just not on me. She's 48 years old and I am 40. I will have to ask her birth date next time as I think that astrology stuff is a good indicator of things if a relationship is likely. Her looks are okay but difficult to see entirely as she was wearing a jacket and hat when she came over to my house. She is blond haired with the Slavic look, not slanted eye look. Her hair is shorter than mine, it looks just at or above shoulder length.

I asked this previously but was wondering if anyone has information about this long hair model. Marianne Ernst (of Germany) is one of my favorite long haired female models but she hasn't posted any pictures since 2018. Anyone know her whereabouts or how she's doing?

Time flies. My son will be eight soon and appears to be a born longhair as he’s been always offered the choice of hair length and has never wavered in wanting it long. He agreed to a small trim on New Year’s Day as my wife was giving me a trim anyway. I could see him experimenting when he’s a teenager with shorter styles but he’s given no indication of wanting to cut it short. He views it as part of his identity.

I’ve been having my hair trimmed once or twice per year. It has been gradually lengthening again since it was cut to shoulder length in July 2018. I might go for mid-back again. I doubt I’d ever try for terminal again given my hair’s fine texture. I’m very satisfied in just maintaining and enjoying being a longhair. My cycling has been cut back a lot over the last year and it’s been replaced with running. Running is no doubt a bit easier on one’s hair as there is no helmet and less wind damage.

A new year and a new decade! I hope everyone is well in this interesting era :) . A photo from today... man, it's hard to tell if my hair is still growing, but I sure hope it is ;p . I guess a few inches off due to split ends doesn't help as well ;o . The wife did this braid for me - kind'a Lord of the Rings -ish ;p heheh. I'm on my third longhair journey and trying to do things right this time and not wind up with damaged hair again that doesn't go much beyond my shoulders. Right now I'm at 10 months from when I buzzed my hair down to 2 inches. So, I've been trying to go all natural by only putting stuff on my head that is out of my kitchen with no chemicals. For shampoo-baking soda and apple cider vinegar with moisturizimg oils-I do that twice a week. On the days I don't use the shampoo I use a hair rinse which is just a combo of some teas (green tea, chamomile, nettle, and reishi mushroom tea and combine this with argan oil. Up to a month ago my hair was looking healthy and a lot fuller than it did when it was long but I had always heard that conditioning daily is very important with long hair. My hair is around 5 inches. Maybe all the oils I'm putting on my head would count as conditioner?

I wasn't sure but decided to start putting Aussie conditioner on my head for a couple minutes each day and fully saturate my hair with it. Now my hair is starting to lose volume and body. It's pretty thin and wavy and if brushed much while dry it gets puffy in areas (I go with a hair pick after light brushing with a soft boars hair brush).

So am I over conditioning? Maybe I'm using way too much? Maybe I don't need conditioner since I'm putting oils in the shampoo and hair rinses each day?

I remember seeing a video on YouTube showing clips of Maury Povich and his daytime reality show. The episodes involved women getting their first haircuts in years, much to their dismay, but you all said he and his show did this to men as well!

I don’t think there’s any footage of the episode because it first aired years ago, and it would be copywrite infringement to just post it on the Internet. I wanted to see the men before the parts where they cut their hair and cry over it because I ironically hate drama.

But let me be pessimistic to decrease the urge to watch this episode if I ever have the chance: there’s no way any of those men had anything longer than waist length hair like the women did, but if I’m wrong, please tell me.

By the way, if there’s more than one episode with forced haircuts, let me know about that, too. Then, I can continue my rant on how much Maury hates long hair.
